Hello,
1. I found in your run_solver that you have the one group"42" that is not found in your mesh.
"Code_Saturne: /home/julien/Code_Saturne/code_saturne-7.2.0/src/mesh/cs_mesh_location.c:595: Warning
The group "42" in the selection criteria: "42"
does not correspond to any boundary face."

Re: Turbomachinery + rotation periodicity
Hello Yvan,
My simulation was with sittings of frozen rotor.
I tried to simulate this case again and I also joined the rotors first. But I had the same error message as before.
Is there some possibilities to check if it is possible to simulate the turbomachinery with frozen rotor + rotation ...

Turbomachinery + rotation periodicity
Hallo All,
I try to simulate the turbine via turbomachinery modul with combination of rotation periodicity. I found some old topic on forum about that problem. From this reason I created the simple case to check. If I set the 2 sets of rotation boundary without settings of turbomachinery then the ...

Re: Heat exchange coefficient
Hello Yvan,
1. if I active the thermal flux for boundary faces then in run_solver.log I have only Boundary temperature and Yplus. (it miss the thermal flux on boundary faces)
2. I need also the field Boundary temperature but with cs_real_t *cvar_ptt = cs_field_by_name("Boundary temperature")->val ...

Re: Heat exchange coefficient
Hello Yvan,
I was able to adapt the "Output of a variable on a surface mesh" to my case of temperature.
But how can I access the boundary temperature and boundary flux?
(something like cs_real_t*cvar_scalt=CS_F(t) for temperature)
I found in forum some example of boundary flux in fortran like ...

Re: Heat exchange coefficient
Hello Yvan,
I also thought about this expression F = h.(Twall - Tfluid) and also about the problem when the mesh is doing finer in surface area. If I use the internal coupling in code saturne (solid -fluid)is there no value (exchange coefficient) that I can to extract and save in med file? The ...

Heat exchange coefficient
Hello all,
I need to help with calculation of heat exchange coefficient h on boundary faces. This field is necessary to have in med file if I want to make a coupling with code aster. It should be possible via subroutine but I didn't find some example.
Thank in advance.

Re: VOF permament inlet
Hello Yvan,
I found the solution for setting the input with combination of VOF. The solution is in attachment but I would like to ask what exactly mean the expression rcodcl(ifac,ivolf2,1)=5.d-2.
I didnt find the description to this expression in documentation. I try to set various value of this ...

Re: Coupling Code saturne 7 syrthes 5
Hello Yvan,
I tried to make the simulation as I sent you before.
The simulation ran but I have no possibilities to set the specified properties for various domain (air and water).
For solid domain it is possible to set them but for next other no.
