Hello everyone,
I use Code_saturne 4.3, but there is no folder named checkpoint or partition, is this a problem of a software version? How can I restart a simulation after a sudden kill of the previous process.
Best regards,
Jiawei

Re: A question about checkpoint
Hello,
There should be a checkpoint. Perhaps the run was killed before the first checkpoint was written ?

Yvan

Re: A question about checkpoint
Hello Yvans,
Thanks for your answer, but there is still no file named partition_output either in the end of simulation nor in process of simulation, I would like to know how to restart a simulation in this condition, if I can't, what should I do to solve this problem,
In addition, in the file postprocess generated by the version CS4.3, there are only results.0001(for example: results.pressure 0001 and results temperature 0001 etc). But in the previous results simulated by the version 4.0.2, I can find the results from 0001 to 00020. why does this difference appears and is there any problem?
Best regards,
Jiawei

Hello,
Without more info (such as that in the forum recommendations); it is hard to guess at the causes of these issues.
