Atmospheric chemistry

Post by Ambre »

Hello,

I would like to use atmospheric chemistry (additionnal model in atmospheric module) in my simulation.
I work on windows 8 (code Saturne V4). I want to simulate NO-O3 reactions with no photolyse (scheme 1 in chemistry model) and compare results with measures.... But it was not working. My results are lower than the measures.

Could you tell me, the chemical reaction in the scheme 1 ( I kwow, there are 4 species (NO/NO2/O3/O3P) and 5 reactions) ?
What is the unit of chemical species (kg/kg, mol/mol or ppm ?)

Thanks.

Hello,

Not sure the people familiar with the chemistry model check this forum very often. Did you check the theory guide (not sure it contains the relevant info) ?

Your best bet is probably to check the chemistry model in the src/atmo source tree...

You don't have the sources in the Windows version, but you can check rhem in the download / subvetsion access portion of this web site.

Regards,

Yvan
