If buiding code_saturne under SALOME, you should use at least the same Python version as SALOME, and if possible, SALOME's bundled Python.
I already try it and it stopped at checking whether /home/iwan/salome/Salome-V9_3_0-x86_64-univ/prerequisites/Python-365/python3.6 version is >= "2.6"... no ...

Hello.
This is the status that I get on Pop OS 19.04.
code_saturne 6.0.0 is used.
2 version of salome tested:
1. 9.3 Ubuntu 18.04
2. 9.3 universal (public.run)
For 9.3 Ubuntu 18.04:
- Different structure of directory
- There is no salome_context file
- code saturne successfully "make" and "make ...

Sorry for the late response.
I have not tried them yet. I still have the same No module _sysconfigdata_m_linux_x86_64-linux-gnu.py error when I use shell session. There was no file named salome_context in the UB18.04 installer.

Congratulation on the compiling. I have not test the build yet, so I do not know if there is any error. However, upon reading the junction tutorial I notice there is no options to choose pre-processing or calculation mode in the my GUI. Do you have those in yours?

I tried removing the SALOMERUN option (last line in my config fiile) and add the --with-modules=no \.
This time, ./code_saturne gui still works fine and ./code_saturne salome gave
iwan@iwan-ub18-04:~/code_saturne/for_ub18.04_src/bin$ ./code_saturne salome
/bin/bash: line 4: /bin/salome ...

For Jeremy, you need to compile Salome first if you want to integrate CFDSTUDY since you need salome libraries directores [KERNEL, MED,CGNS, etc.]. I do not know if using python2 be the cause or not, so can you try compiling only with python3? You can use ...
