Hello,
To modelize a fluid structure interaction, I use the Fortran file usstru.F.
First, I succeed in having just one degree of freedom in translation.
Now, I am really interested to just have one degree of freedom in rotation and the equation mX''+cX'+kX=F is no more adapted to my problem.
So I would like to know if the same equation as mX''+cX'+kX=F, exists in cylindrical coordinates with special variables known by Code_Saturne ? or a equation just for the coordinate "theta"? or if it exists a variable name known by Code_Saturne for the coordinate "theta"?
Thank you for your future answer and your precious help.
Best regards,
Frédérique Chevalier

Re: usstru.F
Hell Frédérique,
Sorry for the late answer... here are nonetheless some information.
We do not currently have something like a solid moving around an axis. However, we do have modified Code_Saturne files (both user and source files) that have been developed by a student. These files are based on a 1.3.3 version and I can upload them for you. Which version are using?
Note that this is just a solid in rotation around one axis, not a full 3D rigid-body motion.
Regards,
David

Hello David,
First, thank you so much for your precious answer!
Then, I use the 1.3.3 Code_Saturne version and I just want to try one degree of freedom in rotation, so your files interest me.
However, as my internship is nearly finished, if it is too long or too much complicated for you to upload the files, it is not a problem if I do not have them.
Nevertheless, thank you again and have a nice day.

Hi,
I am also working on the internal coupling and I was wondering if there is any documentation on the thoery used for the internal coupling.
