Hello,
I solved the tutorial problem of T-junction using SATURNE. I used the geometry file of sn_total.des.
I am confused about seeing the result. I am also wondering how to monitor the solution as the code is running.
I found that there is a directory tmp_Saturne/T_JUNCTION.CAS1.12211702. There are a few files and subdirectories also. I am thinking which of these files monitor the solution ? Kindly let me know.
Once the simulation is done I went to the RESU directory and found out that CHR.ENSIGHT.12211702 directory exists.
I don't have PARAVIEW installed. I only have ENSIGHT. Can somebody please tell me how I can use only ENSIGHT to visualize the results in the absence of PARAVIEW.
Is installing PARAVIEW mandatory ? I also tried to export the ENSIGHT file (.CASE) in TECPLOT. But it was of no help.
Any suggestion how to visualize the results and computational grid only in ENSIGHT will be really helpful.
I am attaching the .case and .geo file that I generated from sn_total.des using ecs -sc -m sn_total.des -ensight.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Debashis

Re: Saturne Tutorial on T-junction : grid and visualization of results
You have Ensight and results written with the Ensight format. So you have just to open the file CHR.case with Ensight. You could read the ensight's doc for more help.
Paraview is another viewver which is able to read also results in the Ensight format.
