Hi guys,
I wanted to ask you if it is possible and how can I select only the fluid volumes (cells) to impose a source term on them and exclude the boundary faces.
Thanks.
Costas

Hello,
I am not sure I understand what you want to do.
Source terms apply to volume cells, not boundary faces, so should not need any extra filtering of your volume criteria.

Hello Yvan,
Thank you for your response. I was a bit confused with the cell_f_vol because basically I want to impose a uniform heat flux on the boundary walls and have the source term on the cells to balance out.

Costas

In addition to the last post, how can I calculate the mass flow rate for each cell?
Kind regards,
Costas

Hello,
As the mass flow on faces is available, summing it over a cell is possible. Check also the predefined functions in the user examples for "balance_by_zone" (which unfortunately se to have an incorrect link in the Doxygen documentation, which we need to fix)."
