SYRTHES 4.3 with CS 3.0.7

Hi,
I have Code Saturne 3.0.7 installed on Red Hat Linux, which version of Syrthes do you suggest to install?

If I remember correctly, a change in the coupling protocol was done between CS 3 and 4, leading to the Syrthes 4.2/4.2 differences (i.e. Syrthes 4.2 and 4.2 were almost identical, with Syrthes 4.2 compatible with Code_Saturne 3.0, and Syrthes 4.2 compatible with Code_Saturne 4.x...

So Syrthes 4.2 would be the recommended version.

Sorry, do you know where i can find this version? because on the Syrthes site I get only version 4.3 and 4.1.1 .

Sorry, I throught there was an "official" public version 4.2. As this seems not to be the case, for Code_Saturne version 3.0, you can use Syrthes 4.1.1 instead (version 4.2 will not be compatible)

Hi Yvan,
thanks for the reply, I am having this error during the installation: ple_config.h: No such file or directory.
Do you have any suggestion? I have attached the setup file and the error file.

Hello,

Your path to libple in the setup.ini seems to be the path to the ple directory in the Code_Saturne sources, but the path you need is the one of the Code_Saturne install..

I finally install Syrthes without errors, but now when I try to source it I get

SYRTHES4_HOME=...path to the architecture... Command not found.
NOM_ARCH=... Command not found.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH= ... Command not found.
SYRTHES4_MPIPATH= ... Command not found.
SYRTHES4_HOME: Undefined variable.
