Hello,
I am currently doing DNS computation of a 3D turbulent channel flow (two walls, four periodic boundary conditions). Up to now, I used the default partitioning method but sometimes the way the domain is partitioned is a little bit strange and not optimal. Since the geometry studied is simple, I would like to force the partitioning to split the domain in slices in the streamwise or wall-normal direction. Is there a way to do it ?
Thanks a lot

Re: Partitionning
Hello,
There is no user control for this yet, but if you switch to block (naïve) partitioning, the partitioning will simply be based on your initial mesh numbering (split in equal parts). If you can control this, you can control the partitioning...
You may also try non-default partitionings just in case...

Yvan
