Dear all,
I'm currently using CS_3.0.0 R4215. Does anyone have noticed non physical results at the outlet when unstructured meshes are used with non-iterative gradient calculation (least squares method over neighboring cells) . I noticed the same problem in the other versions. Find attached a screenshot of the velocity field. To solve the problem is it sufficient to have a structured grid at the outlet?
Thanks,
Luca

Re: Problems at Outlet
Dear Yvan,
I keep having problems with outlets as already indicated in previous posts. I tried with a structured mesh at the outlet but it didn't solve the problem. I also tried to change the extrapolation of pressure gradients but it didn't solve as well.
Now I'm using a negative inlet (respecting mass balance) instead of the outlet and it's working but it doesn't seems a great solution.
Did anyone observe it with CS2.2 and 2.3?
Thanks,
Luca
