Hi Code_Saturne developer,
I wish there is a CS4.0.4 installer like those provided with CS3.0.7 and CS2.0.8. The installer automatically download the needed packages and correct versions to build the code independent of what is on the system. It avoids the situation of can't find needed packages or wrong versions, it makes the installation much easier. Thanks.

Hello,
The installer is now in the main source tree of the code (install_saturne.py), so as to avoid downloading the code multiple times.
It does not install MPI anymore (as this is usually available through packages, and pre-installed versions are often better tuned on clusters), but can now install ParMetis and PT-SCOTCH. The other packages are mostly the same as for older versions..
