Thank you again! I will try to use non-iterative gradients calculation and I will let you know!

Re: Mesh rigid body motion
Thank you Yvan! Using the non-iterative gradient calculation decreased the calculation time of 25%! Very precious tip!!!!
Re: Mesh rigid body motion
As steated in the previous post the calculation time decreased a lot but now at the outlet I can se some unphisical behaviour (checkerboard). I used a non-iterative LS method. What is the cheapest way of calculating gradients that doesn't give this kind of problems?
Thanks again,
Luca

Re: Mesh rigid body motion
Hello,
The checkerboard should not happen in any case. Are you running in parallel ? If I remember correctly, there was a bug in 2.2.0 for some variant of the vector gradient, so upgrading to the latest 2.2.3 or 2.3.3 (or better, 3.0-beta) might help. A new 3.0-beta will probably be released this afternoon or tomorrow.
Regards,
Yvan

Dear Yvan,
yes, I'm running in parallel...Thanks for the information I will upgrade to 3-beta as soon as I can!
Thanks,
Luca
