Hi, whenever I open a results file in Paraview that has a section made of tetrahedral cells it gets covered in a dark shadow. Hexahedral cells are fine. Can this be fixed?
Cheers

Re: Paraview Dark Shadows
Hello,
What version and build of ParaView are you using ? I have never observed this with ParaView.
The thing you should observe, near boundaries, is the fact that cell-based variables have slightly different values on neighboring cells, as the centers are not at the same distance from the boundary. Using the "cell data to point data" filter smoothes this, so you may try it, but I would not call this "shadows", so I assume you are describing something else.
In any case, a small screenshot would help, and if the cause is not the one I mentioned above, sending this to the ParaView mailing list would probably be best.

Yvan
