Hello,
I am running ALE calculations for a coupled fluid-structure interaction problem (a cylinder in a semi-infinite domain) with Code_Saturne 1.3.3 . Then, I need to load the velocity fields obtained at each time step, but I would like to have them on a fixed mesh. From now on, I am leading a brutal interpolation of data on another defined fixed mesh.
Thanks to the variable ICHRMD, I can have a fixed post-processing mesh. But, my question is, if I choose ICHRMD = 1, does Code_Saturne interpolate my velocity field at each time step on this fixed mesh, or is it just the representation of a fixed mesh without the representation of the nodes displacement ?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Marie

Re: Fixed grid with ALE calculation
Hello,
Don't worry, ICHRMD only changes the representation of the post-processing mesh.

Yvan
