Hello,
Does somebody did actually create a 2D wall with Salome within a calculation domain, recognized by the Code? I have tried many configuration but I couldn't solve this problem. The using of the subroutines is good for simple walls but I am trying to simulate a whole industry with processes inside.
I haven't found nobody solving the same kind of simulation as me and I would be pleased to hear some advices about the mesh sofware (because I am not even sure Salome is able to do what I want).
Best regards,

Re: Internal faces with Salome
Hello,
It took me about 15 minutes to generate an example with SALOME. There are probably better ways to do it, but if you run the following script (generated with SALOME 6.4), you will have a cube such as the one attached, with cylinder sides inside constraining the mesh.
Under Code_Saturne, use "cylinder_side" as the selection criterion for thin walls.
For issues related with SALOME meshing, you may want to look at the forum at www.salome-platform.org, or look into SALOME training sessions
Regards,
Yvan
