Hello,
A dumb question... I use CS 6.0.0 and I wonder how to activate URANS calculation.
In fact, when I open the gui, I don't touch all the unsteady fields in Calculation Features and I just have to activate the RANS turbulence model? (k-eps for example)
Is that the right way to do it?
Thanks a lot.

Re: URANS
Hello,
Yes, if the time scheme is "unsteady" (the default), the RANS computation will actually be URANS.
Best regards,
Yvan

Re: URANS
Hello
Thank you, it helps me a lot.
Just to be sure for the future, if I run a simulation RANS+combustion (diffusion flame) and I want to shift to URANS with the same setup file, I can just change "steady management status" in the setup.xml from 'on' to 'off' and that's it?
(I already add LES+combustion compatibility thank to this post: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2348&hilit=large+eddy#p12883)
