Hi, I'm beginning to use again Code Saturne, and I need some information, if possible:
How can I simulate the Boundary Layer behavior of the atmosfere in the wind - building interaction for civil construction?
are there some tutorials for such e simulation?
thanks in advance.

Re: Wind - Building interaction
Hello,
I am not aware of any such specific tutorials for this type of application.
I'll check with the people working on atmospheric modeling to see if they have any suggestions.
What type of information do you need ? Stresses on wall surfaces are a standard output option of the code.
Regards,
Yvan

Re: Wind - Building interaction
Goodmorning Yvan,
I'd like to simulate the real boundary layer behavior.
The wind speed is slower near the ground and I'd like to know how to simulate such a behavior.
thanks in advance.

Hello,
Usually, for this type fo simulation, and given the "reasonable" resolutions used, "rough wall" boundary conditons are used for this.
