Hello Yvan,
Thank you for your information, I am looking forward to your test results.
Best regards,
Lei

use of linear solver in cs_user_solver
Hello, I am trying to adapt the example "cs_user_solver-heat-equation.c" for my own application. However for my application, an implicit scheme requiring a linear solver is used. I would like to know how I could define and assemble a matrix, and then use a linear solver to resolve it, plea...

Re: parallel computing using sgi-mpt
Hello, Thank you very much for your response! I have tried to reinstall Code_Saturne using intel-mpi for MPI, it works and I can now run a coupled simulation on the cluster. By the way do you have some recommendation for choosing the number of processors for each instance in a coupled simulation, an...

Re: parallel computing using sgi-mpt
Hello, Indeed it seems to be a problem with $MPI_RANK variable. I am trying to reinstall Code_Saturne using openmpi option for parallel computing to see if it works. I still have a few questions with regard to your response. In your case, as mpmd_exec.sh does not seem to use the correct environment ...

Re: parallel computing using sgi-mpt
Hello, As I mentioned in a previous post, I finally succeeded to launch a single simulation on a cluster using the method presented in https://www.hpc.ntnu.no/display/hpc/Tutorial+for+submitting+parallel+job+to+VILJE+with+Code+Saturne But now I have a problem when trying to apply the same method for...

Re: choice of nterup and dtref
Hello, Happy new year! I am sorry for the very late response. You can find in the attached .zip file the small test case which involves an oscillating cylinder with an imposed vertical motion (mesh file, .xml files and source file). The .ps file shows a comparison of dimensionless drag force and lif...

choice of nterup and dtref
Hello, I would like to know how to choose nterup in code_saturne. If I understand well, nterup=1 corresponds to the simplec algorithm, and nterup>1 corresponds to the piso algorithm? I am using code_saturne 5.0.9 to simulate flow around a circular cylinder in order to determine the fluid force appli...

Re: problem using a 3D extruded mesh with periodic boundary condition
Hello,
Indeed it was a problem with the translation vector.
All works now!
Thanks a lot!

Re: problem using a 3D extruded mesh with periodic boundary condition
Hello,
I just tested the 5.0.9 version, and I encountered the same error.
Certainly, it is due to the BC boundary condition. Do you have any ideas to solve it, please?
Best regards,
Lei
