Result display problem
Hello everyone, I am using Code_Saturne 4.0.4 on a Batch system. There are some days that I have a rather strange problem on one of my cases. The problem is related to the result folder display where any of the calculations in this case has not listing, postprocessing, monitoring and checkpoint when...

Re: Periodic Boundaries problem
Hello Yvan, Thanks for your reply, Actually I tied both, periodicity distance equals zero for Y and using the boundary condition. First, I put a zero distance for periodicity for Y without boundary condition; I got some error like that: ############# Signal SIGSEGV (accès à une zone mémoire interdit...

Periodic Boundaries problem
Hello everyone, I use a periodic boundary condition for my simulation with Code_Saturne 4.0.4. I have successfully used it for all boundaries. I am now testing for a periodic solution in one direction and non-periodic in another. For me the easiest solution would be if Saturne would allow for non-pe...

Re: Compile issue
Hello Yvan,
Thanks for your reply,
It was not an upgrade, all data was transferred from one system to another.
As you said, I reinstall the Code and now I think it is ok and it works correctly.
Kind regards,
Amir

Compile issue
Hello all, I have some difficulties getting subroutines to compile for Code_Saturne V.4.0.4. I am working on a renewed batch system, and when I was trying to compile a user subroutine for code (using code_saturne compile) on this new system; I got the following error massage: ### /usr/bin/f95 -I /ho...

Re: Jacobi: error (divergence) solving for Velocity
Hello Luciano,
I would like to thank you for your suggestions and your interest in my case.
Finally I could get a pretty good result.
Kind regards,
Amir

Re: Jacobi: error (divergence) solving for Velocity
Hello Luciano, I do not think so, maybe I did not explain well; I would say when I apply P0=Pref, I also sum the Pref at my outlet, so the outcome is the same with the case where I do not use Pref neither in GUI nor at outlet. By the way : with P0=Pref : Outlet Pressure = (0.5*Sigma*Rho*Vref*Vref) +...

Re: Jacobi: error (divergence) solving for Velocity
Hello, I was under the impression that the problem is due to the high Pressure, so I run two different cases with two different pressure (5.7e4+P0 (Pa) and 2.2e4+P0 (Pa)), however the results are still without change, where the solution is clipped by the code and the void fraction equals to 1e-10 fo...

Re: Jacobi: error (divergence) solving for Velocity
Hi Luciano, Thanks a lot for your answer. Actually the multiplicative term, (α(α-1)) , is not updated in V.4.0. theory, but it is applied in “cavitation.f90 subroutine” respectively. The source terms are also different than the reference that you mentioned because it is the developer’s idea to use t...
