Hi.
I want to do a simulation 2D in the Code Saturne. I use Salomé to mesh. I wanna know if I need to mesh in 2D or 3D in Salomé.
Thanks in advance.
How to simulate in 2D in the Code Saturne?

Re: How to simulate in 2D in the Code Saturne?
Hello,
For a 2D calculation, you need a 3D mesh, but one layer of cells is enough: in Salomé, build a 2D mesh, then extrude it vertically with 1 layer. For the "top" and "bottom" faces, you can use a symmetry condition.
