Dear all,
I'm having some difficulties having converged results on some simulations and I would like to take advantage of the various mesh quality tests performed during the CheckMesh procedure to check my meshes.
Where can I found the definition of the different criterion and their target good value or acceptable range ?
I'm talking about the following criterion (those avalaible for graphic post/processing):
-Face_Warp_c_max.
-Grad_RC
-Weighting_C_max
-Offset_c_max
-Non_ortho_c_max
-Error_Grad_RC
-Grad_LSQ/Grad_LSQ_Ext/Grad_LSQ_RC/Grad_LSQ_ExtRed
Some criterion seem clearly related to geometric cell characterics other are not easily understandable.
Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance
julien

Re: Mesh quality criterion given by CheckMesh procedure
Dear Julien,
The really interesting criteria output from the check_mesh procedure are the non orthogonality and the weighting. Non orthogonality should ideally be lower than 65° and weighting have to be visually smooth.
Others criteria are informative (it's very difficult to give an ideal range) and will be describe in a coming documentation.
