volumetric heat source

Hello ,

I'd like to impose a constant power sink in a volume, I saw that is possible to do it from the the GUI by defining S and dS
Unfortunately I don't get the expected results. I was checking the forum for some messages regarding this subject and I found an old entry from 2013, with an example of routine configuration for the case. Before going into that, the question is what are the units for S, W/m3 or W?

Thanks!

Hello

I am not 100% sure, but we usually express this in intensive units, so that would be in W/m3.

Best regards,

Thanks Yvan;

Those are the units I use, nevertheless according to the results it seems that the code in using something else...
would it be possible to verify this? could this be linked to the fact that I'm using the temperature as scalar and not the enthalpy ?

I'm trying to make some runs imposing the power sink in the subroutine ustssc to check if I get the same results.
