Water hammer simulation

Dear all,

I am wondering if code saturne can handle the water hammer simulation, since generally the incompressible flow solver neglects the pressure variation. I am aware of the compressible flow solver built in Code Saturne since the V4. I am quite curious if it can capture the pressure wave in the water hammer phenomenon?

If so, is there any study case?

By the way, if we want to compute two phase flow water hammer case, could Code_Neptune handle it? Or we need to switch to other compressible flow solver such as Europlexus or elsA?

Thank you very much!
