Hello everyone,

I am trying to install code_saturne-4.2.3 by using installer. But there is a error when the installation process comes to scotch.

Originally, the error shown in install_saturne.log is "can not find mpi.h", so I copy the mpi.h from file mpi into file /usr/include/

Then the error is "can not find mpio.h", i solve it in the previous way.

Now the error is "collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status", the install_saturne.log is attached.

Can anyone give same advice on that?

I use installer to install code_saturne_4.0.7 and the routines associated.

But I met problems for installation of scotch, parmetis, even for code_saturne. The setup and install_saturne.log for scotch, parmetis, and code_saturne installation are attached,

Could anyone give me some advice?

See my post in your previous thread.

Also, one of the logs indicates your mpicc is broken. This confirms this, so you need to remove the mpi.h you added, and reinstall MPI correctly.
