Hello everyone,

I'm doing some simulation for turbulent flows, I'm using the k-E model but I would like to know how to mesh with Y+ = 1, because I want to modelize the visquous sub layer to see what happens there.
So i'm wondering if there is an equivalent to the Enhanced wall treatment of FLUENT ?
I saw that there are 3 different wall function types (by default is the two scale model) but does one of these enable me to do this sublayer refinement (or maybe shall I go to another models such as k-Omega).

Hello,

In section 5.4 of the theory guide and in section 8.2.5 of the user guide (Ver 4.3) you have information about the wall functions and the turbulence models. I think that should change your turbulence model to K-omega or V2-f.

Hello Luciano thank you for your reply.
Yes I saw that and I also saw that there is the v2-f phi and EBRSM models that are called low Reynolds models (and can fit better with law Y+).
