Hello,

There is no tutorial for electric arcs. I need to check if I can provide a test case from the validation suite, so I'll keep you informed.

Yvan

Hello,

Which version of the code are you using ? I can send you a test case tomorrow, but need to know whether you need it in V4.0 or V4.3 type setup.

Yvan

Hello Yvan
thanks foe the model, however I found some difficulties running it , although it seems ready to be run , I also could find a version of SIMAIL foe windows in order to study the mesh , any suggestion

Hello,

SIMAIL is an old tool, and I'm not sure there is a Windows version.

To study the mesh, simply run Code_Saturne in "check mesh mode" and postprocess the output.

Yvan

Hello,

This seems to be the same issue many people have mostly on Windows, and which we hoped was solved in version 4.0.5 (but it seems not).

It is a bug related to Qt/Python, but you can work around this bug by directy running the "runcase.bat" script in the case's SCRIPT directory.

Yvan
