Hi, to stop execution of code saturne 3.0.1, I put in a control_file in the RESU/<current directory run>, with the statements ntmabs=250 and max_time_step=250 in two lines (as per section 3.2.4 of the users manual), but it does not work, the simulation keeps going, and the file is deleted soon after I put it in. I believe RESU/<current directory run> is the execution directory where I am supposed to put the control_file, as the listing file is updated regularly during the simulation. Am I doing something wrong?

You are in the good directory but your syntax is wrong.
The good one:

250

or

max_time_step 250

If your syntax is OK the listing will be updated.
