particle statistics
I ran a case with particle tracking with particles depositing on a wall. I want to get the mass flux of particles depositing on the wall. How do I extract this from the particle statistics?
Re: particle statistics
Hi,
I do not have the GUI at hand, but using the GUI of Code_Saturne 3.0, boundary statistics (including particle mass flux depositing on the wall) can be found in the "statistics" window of the sub-menu "Particle tracking", just next to the volume statistics.
Once activated, the iteration number that can be set in this window corresponds to the Lagrangian iteration number starting from which the statistics will be averaged over time.
Best regards,
Mathieu

Re: particle statistics
I don't think you understand my question. I set those parameters in the GUI and ran the case. Where can I see the results?
Re: particle statistics
Hi,
if properly activated, particle boundary statistics should then appear as variables in the postprocessing/RESULT.case file (which can be read by Paraview or Ensight for instance)
