User "Salad" claims in Code_Saturne blogspot that he has successfully ported code saturne to Windows 7. Is there a chance to get an executable? Also, which compiler is then used, I need to make own initial field definition subroutines.

Timo

Re: Code Saturne in Windows
Hello,
Compared to the blog by "salad", there has been recent progress in the port of Code_Saturne on Windows, so the code pulled from SVN should build on Windows, but I do not have all the required details, and we do not have a binary/installer out yet.
To my knowledge, the compiler that is used is gcc/gfortran (with mingw). I believe OpenMPI may also be used.
I should get up to speed in this port (done by David Monfort) in the coming months, but I don't know enough to provide more details now (i.e. I have not built it on Windows myself, so I am not familiar with that build, and the documentation for that build does not yet exist).
Regards,
Yvan
