The SIGSEGV is probably due to a bug, either in the user or main code.

Running under a debugger (ideally with Valgrind if the case is small enough) would be the best way to find it. Otherwise, if the case is not too big / not confidential / etc. and you can post it here or send it to me, I could have a look.

For the CDO setup I'll check with the colleagues working on this.

The CDO solver used for ALE is not compatible yet with FSI (and INTERNAL coupling) because the way boundary conditions are treated are really different (using the GUI it is transparent, but you cannot use cs_user_boundary_conditions_ale.f90 for the CDO solver).
We check if it is possible to add this feature for version v6.2.
