LES suggestions for inlet boundary condition ?!

Hello everyone,

I would like to make LES simulations and I didn't have much experience with it.
I have already made RANS simulations with Code_Saturne where I applied a constant velocity profile (dirichlet condition) and a turbulent intensity of 1% at inlet.

Are there some suggestions (or documents) about boundary conditions for LES simulations regarding the velocity on the inlet (unsteady profiles....) ?! Also, is there already something included in code_saturne regarding these boundary conditions (something like artificially generated turbulent velocity profile etc) ?!

However, I have another question: Which method do you recommend to use for venturi case with Reynolds channel number above 10000, the vortex method or the synthetic eddy method ?!
