Version 3.0 Tutorial - Simplified Nuclear Vessel

Post by ChuckWallace »

First off, let me disclaim that I'm a nascent CS user and just finished the initial installation.

My issue: I'm following the first tutorial and I'm in the first section (General Description). I've created the T_juction directory and the calulation sub-directory, case1. Where do I find the mesh file that should be copied in the MESH directory, ITECH_CS_training_2012/meshes/1-simple_junction/downcomer.des?

Also, I can open the Code_Saturne GUI, but I get an error warning about "the xml file must be in directory DATA of the case."

The existing file, in the working directory is /usr/local/src/code_saturne-3.3.3/T_junction/case1/Data/REFERENCE, is dp_FCP.xml.

Does this mean that I should copy (or move) dp_FCP.xml one level up to the DATA directory?

I would greatly appreacite any help that could be provided.

Cheers,
John

Hello,

The mesh is in the code sources, under "examples/1-simple_junction/mesh/".

The XML file is in examples/1-simple_junction/case1 (the dp_FCP.xml is completely different, and only for combustion modeling).

Regards,

Yvan
