Hello,
I simulate a compressible flow so I use the compressible module. For the use of this module, I have to put a Courant number max (coumax) of 0.4. In the listing files, in the table "Information on the time step" there are 3 criterions :
Courant number Fourier number CFL/MAS
What is the number CFL/MAS ? I know that it only exists for compressible flow but I don't know what it represents.
Thank you
Romain

Re: CFL/MAS compressible module
Hello,
CFL/MAS number allows to ensure the positivity of density. It requests to be lower than 1. It is interpreted as an insurance to not create void in the flow.
