Hello,
After creating my geometry and mesh with salome, I am using Code saturne as solver.
The groups created with Salome permit me to define the boundary conditions. I apply head losses on volumes with the Code.
However, I have some trouble to make appearing the volume created with Salome when I am post treating with Paraview.
Does somebody have a hint?
Regards,
Damien CHARRERON

Re: Head losses in Paraview
Hello,
The simplest solution is to define an additional postprocessing mesh with the same selection criteria as the volume zone (using the GUI with version 2.1 or above).
When postprocessing under ParaView, you then need to use the "extract blocks" filter to view that sub-mesh.
Also, when running in mesh checking mode, you automatically have different postprocessing meshes for each volume and surface group (you also need the "extract blocks" filter to see those).
Best regards,
Yvan
