Impose velocity-surface-profile as a inlet condition extracted from another simulation

Post by Tsubasa »

Hello,

Sorry the title of the topic is not clear.
I am doing simulations for outdoor and indoor separately.

Then what I want to do now is
1. outdoor flow simulation and extract a velocity profile (surface profile (2D), not 1D profile,) at a certain plane near a window which I select

2. impose that surface velocity profile as an inlet condition at a window of a building for indoor flow simulation

You can see clearly this in a picture

Is there some way to do this in code_saturne?

Best regards,
Tsubasa

Hello,

You can check the following example : https://www.code-saturne.org/documentat ... er_2d.html

To adapt it to your case, you would need to install code_saturne with MEDCoupling support (see downloads on https://www.salome-platform.org/).

Regards,

Yvan
