Hello,
i have a strange behaviour of CS5 on 2 differents simulations. It crashed without any error code generated, without anything written in the listing file, nor in the summary except "solver failed". Values listed in the listing files are not totally out of scope, timer_stats does not show incredibly high computation time for the last step. One strange thing is that i was not able to see the residuals graph during calculation. have you seen that already ?
I enclosed some of the files generated I can upload some others if needed.

Re: CS5 solver failed
Hello,
You have some warnings about uninitialized variables in the compile.log, so you might want to check those.
Could you test this case on a debug build ? (a version configured using --enable-debug) ? This may provide more info and a backtrace.
Regards,
Yvan

Hello,
sorry for the late answer. I updated CS to 5.0.3, without removed the unused variable, and i do not have the failure any more. I doubt this is linked to the update, but so far no problem any more.
