Nusselt Number

Post by ilaria_lilla »

Hi, I'm a student and I'm starting to discover code_saturne 7.0. My test case is the heated square cavity, my goal is to get the nusselt number on the edge or the heat flux or the temperature gradient.
Probably the post_util.f90 code could be useful to me but I don't know how to use it. I would be very grateful if someone could pass me a code to put in the src folder.

Hello,

First steps :

-Why is this question in the "discussion" and not "usage" Forum section ? Please read the forum recommentations.

- Did you run the code_saturne tutorials ?

- As a general rule, it is always better to use the GUI rather than user-defined functions as it is easier to maintain and avoid bugs. User-defined function should only be used if you really understand how they work. So I encourage checking available examples first.

- You can already obtain the heat flux on a boundary without a user-defined function, using the GUI.

Regards,

Yvan
