Making Embroidery with Paper Crafts- Easy Steps to Follow

Paper and machine embroidery work together for DIY lovers out there, and this mix is one of the best ways to bring out your creativity. While embroidery arts on paper works are pretty standard for the valentine season, there is no day or event you can create these fantastic crafts for, especially if you have an ideal best embroidery machine that can bring out the best from you. You need to also go for your ideal or favorite design and then have your on-hand paper and hoop.

What Do You Need for This Project?

To complete this project, you will surely need the best embroidery machine Image you can find. You will also need an embroidery design that comes with low-density stitching, 8” square sticky stabilizer like a peel or bosal stick, 4 ½” square iron batting, size 11 needle for embroidery, 40th embroidery thread, 60wt bobbin thread, two 11” x 81/2” pieces of print scrapbook paper, 11” x 8 ½” solid scrapbook paper, a double-stick adhesive dispenser, a glue pen, stickers(like valentine day stickers), sticky borders, envelope, 4 x 4” hoop, a rotary cutter, a ruler, a cutting mat, pins, a dry iron, a pair of scissors, and a pencil.

Prepare Your Materials and Embroider

Prepare your materials by setting up your home embroidery machine, then cut a 5” square from your solid cardstock. Press the fusible side with the dry iron on the batting to the cardstock square wrong side. Hoop your sticky stabilizer before using a pin to perforate the paper. Peel the paper to expose the adhesive part before entering the cardstock square within your hoop. Remove the hoop from the machine and then remove the stabilizer from the hoop once you complete your embroidery work. Cut up to 5 angles to create that unique shape that will frame your embroidery. Check out the Image top rated embroidery machines on the Crafts Selection website for paper embroidery.

Decorate the Top, Center and Add the Embroidery

To decorate the top, fold that second piece of your solid cardstock in half width before cutting one of the printed papers at 3” tall, before using the double-stick adhesive dispenser on the wrong side and at the four edges of the printed paper. Place the print paper at the top corners of the front to align the edges. You don’t need the best embroidery machine for lettering to decorate the center of the piece, use the double-stick adhesive dispenser on the edges before placing the print paper in the center to align with the edges.

Embellish your embroidery by adding those sticky borders to all the sides of the paperwork. You can add your final details here, especially with the stickers, glitters, and buttons. With these simple steps, perhaps you should have your embroidered paper crafts ready for any occasion. Let your designs be influenced by the recipients of these beautiful crafts. If you are adding lettering to the design, you should consider finding the best embroidery machine for lettering Image on the Crafts Selection website.

Hello,

These are quite old versions you seem to be using. Recent SALOME versions allow exporting MED files to older versions, but maybe not that old.

salome_meca is handled by a separate project, but using a more recent version should already improve things.

Best regards,

Yvan
