Hello,
I'm trying to model a complex air diffuser device. I came up with a simplified version of it and launched a 3D simulation in order to get the resulting velocity profile.
However, it seems the interior faces I defined as "wall" in code_saturne are not considered at all: the airflow just goes through them (cf attached pic).
Would anyone know what I could do to get saturne to recognise these interior walls?
Thanks in advance,
Axel

Re: Interior walls
Hello,
Interior faces cannot have boundary conditions as they "see" two cells, contrary to the boundary faces which "see" only one cell. What you need to do is to defined thin walls with your mesh generator; these walls must be defined as boundary faces so that you can setup a wall condition on them.

Hi David,
That makes sense, thanks for the answer. I'll try adding thin walls to my diffuser.
