Hello,
I have a question regarding the restart process in the case of a LES simulation. My objective is to initialize my LES simulation from the results of a RANS simulation. To do this I use the restart option and read the checkpoint folder from the RANS simulation (which has the same configuration as my LES). When I check the last time step in my rans simulation and the first one in the LES simulation they do not coincide (image below), is this correct?
At the end of some iterations I am left with a flow that is not symmetrical (between north and south) which is not expected in this case since the wind is coming from the west or 270°.
I have included the setup file and the listing for this simulation.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Marcia
