Thermal viscous layer for oil flow

Post by gbenefice »

Hello,

I would like to simulate an oil turbulent flow with a wall thermal transfer. So, I use a low-Reynolds turbulence model and my mesh is created to have Y+ equal to 1.

To simulate the thermal viscous layer, do I have to have a T+ value equal to 1?
In my case, the Prandtl number is equal to 60. So T+ = 60 = Y+ x Prandtl.

Best regards,
Guillaume
