Stoichiometry Gas Combustion Problems

Post by Design_BIB »

Hi,

My case is to study a gas combustion effect. A quadratic reaction chamber with Inlet and Outlet nozzle. It's look simple case.

I checked a setting parameters by using Methane (CH4) combustion with EBU and Reference model spalding, It works well.
But when I modified the dp_C3P file by 2 kinds of fuel gas (CH4 and CO), it's 2 reaction with CH4 combustion and CO combustion, and revised global stoichiometry by the combination of 2 reaction, It doesn't work and notice error all the time. I'm somewhat confident with the calculation of stoichiometry data.

1) Does CS supported only single fuel gas?
2) In "ngazg" (Number of global species), Does it always fixed with 3? or Can I add extra parameter into this? (Like Fuel 1,2 / Oxydant 1,2 and 3)

Best Regards,
Chayawat
