Wind energy potential estimate

Code_Saturne has been applied to the estimation of wind energy potential in complex terrain.
The maps shown here represent annual averages of wind and turbulent kinetic energy at hub level and are obtained by simulation of 64 typical situations that are obtained by cluster analysis of meteorological conditions for a full year.
