Re: Syrthes 3.4

Hello,
Is there the good number of time steps in your job.syd?

Code: Select all

/ Pas de temps
/---------------
NOMBRE DE PAS DE TEMPS SOLIDES= 100
In case of coupling, - I'm not sure - I think the Syrthes time step is chosen automatically in case of incoherency with CS.

Best regards,
JF

Re: How to create a pressure differential in a tube ?

Hello,
You can specify custom boundary conditions in usclim.f90 or cs_user_boundary_conditions.f90 (depending on version).

You can also add (in momentum eq.) a source term which can be added in ustsns.f90 or cs_user_source_terms.f90 and add periodicity in order to simulate infinite channel.

Re: mobile mesh

Hello,
You should try to reduce your time step.

Re: how to output the temperature on the boundary?

If you use orthogonal meshes you can use coefa and coefb directly. Same way for Neuman/Dirichlet BC.

In my previous post please note my edit in the 2nd "Code box" (iclvar added).

Re: how to output the temperature on the boundary?

Hello, There is an example (true if there is no wall function) in usproj (v2.2): ! Compute reconstructed value in boundary cells compute grad T with grdcell -> gradT do ifac = 1, nfabor (loop on boundary faces) iel = ifabor(ifac) (boundary faces -> cell connectivity) diipbx = diipb(1,ifac) (compute ...
