Re: Time step in Code_Saturne 2.2 and SYRTHES 4.0
Hello, There has been no progress regarding an automated time step multiplier (this would be quite easy for a single coupling, but could become a nightmare for multiple couplings, and is also subject to interpretation, depending on whether the multiplier has a physical (different time scales) or num...

Re: How to use the gas combustion module ?
Hello, You mesh seems quite coarse, and I am not sure how the combustion models behave on a tetrahedral mesh. I would suggest comparing results with those on a finer mesh, but I am not otherwise familiar with the combustion models of the code, so I woul need others to help here. Best regards, Yvan

Re: user prostprocessing output
Hello, Unless you only have output on the volume mesh (i.e. the surface mesh is deactivated, either through the GUI or using ichrbo = 0), you should not set ipart = -1. The routine is called for all output meshes, with a different value of ipart. Also, what turbulence model are you using ? ir11, ir2...

Re: Mesh error cgns
Hello, Regarding ADF 3.0 vs ADF 3.1, the element type numbering scheme changed between CGNS 3.0 and 3.1 (if I remember correctly, it was actually changed from 2.5 to 3.0, with a new pyramid variant inserted, and reverted in 3.1, with the new pyramid type moved towards the end of the element type num...

Re: Definition of the rotation axis
Hello, Looking at the code, it seems that this case is not planned for. It would probably be a relatively simple development, adding a vector defining the axis to cstphy.f90, initializing it in iniini.f90 and usini1.f90, then adjusting the terms in which omegax, omegay, and omegaz appear in the code...

Re: Mesh error cgns
Hello, I was typing my post at the same time as Juan's, and I can now see that you are using ICEM 14, while we detected it with ICEM 13. This means they still have the bug (I do not know how to file a bug with them, and they made such a mess of CGNS support the last 3 ICEM versions that I would be t...

Re: Mesh error cgns
Hello, I do not believe the initial problem is with the CGNS installation, but with one of the scripts, which would call components of the 2.0-rc1 version installed under "/usr" instead of its own components (normally, paths are sourced with added paths first, so this behavior is surprisin...

Re: Mesh error cgns
Hello, The value I wanted to check in the config.log was correct (ecs_bindir='/home/r01ken0/Code_Saturne/v2.0.5/cs-2.0/bin'), so it is surprising that the wrong cs_preprocess was used. I am starting to suspect that in your case, even the GUI was not the correct version, but was version 2.0-rc1 (you ...

Re: Mesh error cgns
Hello, Yes, the problem seems to be due to your installation, but should still not happen. If you can also post the /home/r01ken0/Code_Saturne/v2.0.5/installer/ncs-2.0.5.build/config.log I would be interested. If you can remove the version of the preprocessor version 2.0-rc1 that is in you default p...
