Re: COOLING TOWER PLUME

For the humid atmosphere, the additional variables are : "LiqPotTemp", "TotWater" and
"NbDrop"
from doc.

You mean these variables ?

Re: COOLING TOWER PLUME

Hello,

I suggest you to read the user documentation of Code_Saturne 3.0 especially from page 134 (atmospheric module).

Re: HUMID ATMOSPHERIC MODULE

Hello,

You should use (and edit) the meteo file to configure the number of droplets (the example file is given with 0 droplet).

Re: Non convergence of grdvec

You can not change maximum iteration number of gradient computation with the GUI (iterative solver /= gradient).

Do you have an idea of your mesh quality?
You can try to use a centered scheme for convection (or SOLU) with least square gradients over partial extended neighborhood computation.

Thank you for this tutorial ;) !
Do not hesitate to add an illustration of your coupled calculations!

Re: Validation papers about Code_Saturne

Hello,

There are validation reports for production versions of Code_Saturne. But, at the moment, due to validation test-cases based on industrial and nuclear applications the validation report is internal to EDF.

Hello,
Could you try again with the patch attached (add it in the SRC dir)?

Re: Head Loss Region Syntax

Vance,

You may use the subroutine uskpdc (uskpdc.f90) to impose head losses. You also can use ustvnv (cs_user_source_terms.f90) as said Brian to impose momentum source terms.

Re: Entropy generation

Hello,

The dedicated subroutine to postpro quantities (fields, ...) on the mesh is cs_user_postprocess_var.f90.
