I find an answer for the intermediate results (file rdt). When computing with only 1 processor, the file is created!
Is it possible to have intermediate steps when a parallel calculation?
Best regards
Julien

How can I add a translation term in a solid domain ?
For example, describing a solid sliding in a direction at a constant velocity u. (simulation a conveyor belt) Adding a term in the heat equation.

Re: Radiation in SYRTHES 4.3
Hello, Sorry for using this forum for Syrthes discussion. I calculate radiation with syrthes with success in parallel. I follow the tutorial "conduction and radiation in an oven plates 3d", don't find the geometry, so I created one by myself in Salome. BUt I don't find the transient result...

Re: Running Code Saturne on Windows
Hello,
To resume, for a run on Windows, which version of each software do you use?
Code Saturne 4.0.5 with Salome 7.6 for MED 3.0?
I work with Windows 10 (mhassab?)
Best regards
Julien

Hello, I use .syd from the example folder from code saturne installation pack. To be clear, which files I need to run this coupled study? I need 3 folders: - one fluid: within it DATA RESU SCRIPTS SRC folders, in the DATA folder the fluid-3rond2D-coupling.xml file with associated mesh dependancy. - ...

Re: Simple flow problem comparison with Comsol
Restart calculations seems to work correctly with only scalar computation, good news. I try unsteady state but I can't record any intermediate files which can be open in paraview. Only info in the listing file. Thank you for the tip for the heat flux, I think that there was some more automatic tools...

Re: Simple flow problem comparison with Comsol
You are right, I can select a restart point and select also "calculation on frozen velocity and pressure fields". I will try to see if only temperature is computed now. A new question please, when I set up the calculation control in steady state calculation, can I record intermediate solut...

thermal balance on boundaries
Hello,
Is there a way to extract power on each boundaries to check the thermal balance (GUI or user routine) with code saturne?
Is there an example or tutorial for this?
Best regards
Julien
