cs4.2.0 configure issue on ubuntu 15.10
Hi all, i'm trying to install cs 4.2.0 manually but when I run ./configure the installation program is not able to detect BLAS Scotch CGNS , MED, HDF... and so on despite I have them installed via synaptic. What can i do to make configure file recognise them directly ? Thanks in advance bindir='${ex...

Guide to couple Saturne & SYRTHES
Saturne 3.2 coupled with syrthes 4.1.1 under Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Preparing your Ubuntu distro: Install Ubuntu 12.04 run updates, remember to activate the option "not supported updates (precise-backports)" and reboot from Software Center install : Synaptic package manager from Synaptic package...

Re: Automatic timestep in coupled cases
yes !! i will be very interested, i would really like to do the beta tester for that, since i'm simulating a oven with a recyrculing fan -> i have to set the mrf in the saturne way : coupling 2 cases with coriolis' source term in the fan domain. Since the convergence is faster using an initial unste...

Hi,
now i am using the 3.0.1 version, is it possible to use the automatic in the coupled saturne saturne??

Re: High derive values
hi, i'm using CS 3.0 beta.
So i can't find anymore this option, maybe i can use SIMPLEC algorithm instead of SIMPLE. is this what you mean?

High derive values
Hi all, i'm running steady state MRF simulations (so 2 volume coupled) with saturne, some of them don't reach convergence and diverge easily. My approach is : Prepare mesh -> run few iterations with k-eps (i'm using air inside an oven) with scalable wall function -> check y+ if it's too big ( >300) ...

Saturne to casting simulations
HI all, i'm wondering if it is possible to simulate metal casting operations with saturne, just to talk generally i would like to simulate an amount of liquid filling a cavity (under vacuum or in air) just with the gravity force. Is it possible ??
Thank you for any reply

Result of calculation as a BC for another calculation
Hi all, i'm doing several simulations with mrf algorithm in steady state. I would like to do such a thing: at the end of a mrf simulation i can see at the boundary coupled condition the velocities for each cell. I would like to start again another simulation, not coupled, with only the stator ( so w...
