Saturne4.0.0-rc2 with Syrthes4.3
Dear Code_Saturne users and developers, I installed Code_Saturne4.0.0-rc2 and Syrthes4.3.0 on Xubuntu12.04LTS (CAELinux2013). Each works fine stand-alone. When coupled for conjugate heat transfer, i.e., running "runcase" with "coupling_parameters.py", it said: ./syrthes: error wh...

"Three 2D disks" coupled case ran only one iteration.
Dear Code_Saturne users and developers, I tried the example case “Three 2D disks” following the instruction http://code-saturne.org/cms/sites/default/files/file_attach/Tutorial/version-3.0/Three-2D-disks.pdf The fluid and the solid parts, separately, ran without a problem. However, the coupled case ...

Re: Guide to couple Saturne & SYRTHES
Thanks Yvan. I have not got to configure and compiling Code_Saturne yet. According to this guide, Syrthes is compiled and installed first. My Syrthes setup.ini is attached here. While compiling Syrthes, it ran into - cfd_couplage.c:53:26: fatal error: ple_coupling.h: No such file or directory proble...

Yes, "extract blocks" is required to render it correctly (attached screenshot). Thanks Yvan.

Thanks Yvan. Attached is my setup file. I put
salome /home/ffan/salome-meca/V2014_2
inside the setup file.
My Saome-Meca is a 64-bit one.

Re: Result of Example 4-2Ddisks
Yvan,
Thank you for reply. But, I did apply "Cell Data to Point Data" in this case. Clicking the screenshot will enlarge the picture and show it more clearly. What can other reason be? Thanks.

Result of Example 4-2Ddisks
Dear Code_Saturne users/developers, I ran the fluid_alone case of v4.0.0-rc2 example 4-2Ddisks without modification (/code_saturne-4.0.0-rc2/examples/4-2Ddisks/case1/fluid/fluid_3disks_alone.xml) and view the result on Salome 6.6.0 ParaViS. I got a flow (attached) that does not look anything like wh...

Re: Guide to couple Saturne & SYRTHES
Dear Code_Saturne users and developers, I followed this guide with Syrthes 4.3.0, but got: fatal error: ple_coupling.h: No such file or directory when compiling Syrthes. (Please see the attached log.) I then changed to Syrthes 4.1.1. Still got the same error. Where might be the problem? Thanks. - ffan
