Re: Eulerian multiphase simulation

Hi, No one replies to this topic. I'll try. I have not done this before, but I think: For two-fluid model, use two CS instances defined in the same flow domain --- one for each phase. Use CS' volume-coupling for the interface between the two phases. There also needs an iterative scheme to make sure ...

Re: Installation with CGNS support on a cluster

Thank you Yvan. Yes, the CGNS on the cluster is too old (cgnslib-2.5.5). I now use cgnslib-3.2.1, hdf5-1.8.14, and med-3.0.8. It builds without a problem, and MED is supported. The only thing is the installation log says: OpenMP support: no I thought v4.0.4 has hybrid parallelism capability. No? Tha...

Installation with CGNS support on a cluster

Hi Code_Saturne developers and users, I wanted to install Code_Saturne 4.0.4 on a cluster machine. Without CGNS support, it compiled successfully. However, with CGNS support tuned on, it generated an error. Looks like the problem happened at libsaturne.so: undefined reference to `cg_elements_partial...

Re: One-way coupling and Two-way coupling of Lagrangian Part

Thanks Yvan. Yes, when Pulverized coal combustion was turned off , the One-way and the Two-way coupling options became available on the GUI. I ran the example case on v4.0.3 with no combustion for one-way and two-way coupling and found that, if two-way coupling is started from the initial zero field...

Code_Saturne/Code_Saturne coupling

Hi,

Is there an example for how to do Code_Saturne/Code_Saturne coupling? And, is the turbomachnery module (now available through GUI) a Code-Saturne/Code_Saturne coupling under the hood? How is that done? Thank you very much.

One-way coupling and Two-way coupling of Lagrangian Particle

Hi Code_Saturne users/developers, I would like to use the One-way coupling and Two-way coupling of Lagrangian Particle tracking. They are not available from the GUI (grayed out in v4.1.1 GUI). Are there instructions and/or example cases of how to use them from the user subroutines/functions? Thank y...

Re: GUI setup of a turbomachinery model

Yes, there are some test cases in Code_Aster that are blocked out also.

Re: GUI setup of a turbomachinery model

Thank you Yvon. If Code_Saturne can publish its test cases, they would be very helpful as examples. (Code_Aster publishes its test cases for people to use as examples.)

GUI setup of a turbomachinery model

Dear Code_Saturne users and developers,

Code_Saturne version 4.0 has turbomachinary model available in GUI. It would be really nice to have an example of GUI setup of a complete turbomachinary model. Thanks.
